I am so glad that we were able to meet up last week and get a good idea of what we need to do to get this website up and running. I wanted to make sure we are all on the same page here and that the website is due on Sunday April 22nd at Midnight.
I just wanted to put a list od the ideas we came up with on here so that we all know what were in charge of. Also I am free all day next Saturday 4/14, so if either of you want to get together and work on the last bits and pieces of this project I will be available.
Here are the topics we decided on..
Tiffany-Snowfall
Tiffany-Temperature
Nikki-Blizzards
Nikki- Seasons
Nikki- Saftey (severe)
Erica-Safety (not severe)
Erica-Forcasting
We did also come up with ways in which we were each going to represent our inforamtion. If you two want to add on here what ways you were thinking of doing it go ahead. I will most likely do a lesson plan for blizzards from earlier on, and two digital stories about seasons and safety.
Other than that I think we are all set. Have a Happy Easter and Im sure I will talk with you two over this next week!

Ideas
So for our new map, I think a section should be temperature. I ended up doing my last lesson plan on temperature where I had the students bring in the temperature at different given times and then they compared them. I think it would be very good for students to learn that the temperature varies. This can be a topic in our map.
Also, I think we should talk more about our videos. The different topics we did I think should be other main focuses. For example, I had thunderstorms and the safety of them. This can be demonstrated on the map as well.
Tiffany, since it's your turn, just let me know if you need anything! Thanks and have a great break!!

Digital Story
I think that we should just do the topics we did our lesson being I will do Tornadoes, Erica you can do ThunderStorms and Tiffany you should do Hurricanes. How does that sound? It will be perfect because it will be an introduction to the lessons we just did.

Our map shows the distance between Michigan and Paris, France. The students will be able to see the two different locations and where each is located. This will help the students visually and show them how weather can be different.
(We were very confused with how to post this image on "google maps" therefore we resulted in posting the link into our blog.)

Here is my first concept map for Weather Monitoring. We have to continuously revise this throughout the semester but I feel like this is a good start. I wasnt sure if we were suppose to do this collaberately, if so, we can combine ours. I think we all need to meet up still. Give me a time and day and I will be there. I have work and my preinternship along with school but I will be able to move things around. Let me know!

I was a little confused with if were to do this assignment together. I think it would be a good idea to meet up for the next web post due and combine ours together. The next one is due on March 2nd. Tiffany, is there any ways you can meet on a Friday? Or Sunday? Tuesdays and Thursdays are packed for both Nikki and I. My number is 269-924-1751, maybe text me soon so we can figure this out.
